SWATCHES : ELF 32 - Warm palette

 Top Row

Second Row

 Third Row

Bottom Row

I was on a hunt for this after I saw Nouveau Cheap talk about this. I ended up finding it at Big Lots for $5. But I heard it is also available at Target, ELF and Walgreens for the same price.

At first I wasn't super impressed with the color selection, or the pigmentation. Big after using it for quite some time I have come to appreciate it, especially for the wonderful value of $5.

Some of the shades take quite a bit of work, and that is super annoying. But others require very little effort at all. To be honest, just by looking at the palette you can see which colors are going to be a pain in the butt :) But i'm definitely glad I purchased this. I used it almost daily last week, and even introduced some color into my life by using the cranberry/pinky shades. I even got compliments and people could believe I said it came from a $5 palette. I know ELF also makes a "Cool" palette as well with more brighter colors. However, i'm strictly a neutral kind of girl, and would have no use for that palette. I also saw that one at Big Lots incase anyone is interested. I definitely recommend this to anyone just starting out. For $5 you can't go wrong! If you order from ELF, I recommend searching retailmenot.com for a coupon code to get a even better deal! While your at it pick up some of the $1 eyelid primer too to give your shadows some extra wear.

  1. I bought that same Palette on December 2011, and just today I took it our of my drawers and want to use this coming week. Like you I'm more into neutral colors. What color combination would you recommend from this palette?

  2. I ended up passing this along to my mother as I never really used it :( I was a fan of the cranberry/plummy colors in the third row on the right hand side, also the champagne shade (3rd in the top row) I used alot as well.
